The LCR game also known as the Left Center Right game is a dice game where players take turns to roll dice. Some people play it as a betting game and drop coins or money to be won depending on what the players agree on. The game is a game of luck and thus strategy plays little or no roll in winning the game.
The objective of the game is to be the only player with a chip at the end of the game.
LCR Game Rules
. If a player loses all his chips, the player continues in the game because another player may pass a chip to him
. The chip can either be passed to the left, right or center.
Number of Players Needed
This game can be played by three or more players.
You need the following to play the LCR game
- A flat surface preferably a table big enough to contain the number of players in the game.
- Die, (that is three 6-sided dice).
- Small poker chips. The number of poker chips needed depends on the number of players in the game but every player must get three chips at the beginning of the game.
- A small cup for rolling the die (optional).
How To Play LCR Dice Game
Each player is given three small poker chips. Players take turns to roll the die and move the chips accordingly. The players can pick the first player based on the winner of the previous game, youngest or oldest player or roll dice. The game continues in a clockwise manner after the first player is done playing. The direction the chips are moved depends on the numbers on the die.
1, 2, and 3 dots has no value
4 is Left
5 is Centre
6 is Right
To understand it better. After a player rolls the die, if any of the die falls on the numbers 1, 2, 3, then the player isn’t going to move. If the number 4 appears on any of the dice, the player is to move to the left (pass number of chips to the player on the left). If the number is 5, the player is to keep the chip in the center pot and to the Right player for number 6. The die is passed to the next player after that.
For instance, if you roll a die and got the following figures, 4, 3, 6. You give one chip to the player on your left, one chip to the player on you right and left one chip to yourself because 3 has no value.
Winning The Game
The player with the remaining one or more chips after other players have lost theirs becomes the winner of the game.
